Worms in my mouth again is a performance, an embodied disassociation, an exploration of polyvagal theory, an oscillation of bodily states, a cyclical experience of fighting, flighting, and freezing- an outward initiation, a coping mechanism for being in a body, an emotional bowel obstruction, and an incantation for good digestion. Duration is about 15 minutes.

For one week of time, I replaced the ADD medication that I have been prescribed for over a decade with the detailed schedule, regimen, and appearance of the most focused and structured person I know. Rather than experiencing a week of withdrawal symptoms and mental chaos, I attempted to evoke an internal shift through an external commitment to calibrate to the hyper structured life of my 86 year old, workaholic, compulsively organized, father. During the week of the experiment I dressed in my father's daily uniform, used only his products, ate only what he eats in a typical day, woke up at 4:30am for his daily work out routine, and strived to carry out my own affairs with the same attitude and personality that he carries his. The failure of the experiment was documented with video and handwritten journal entries.

In a booth set up outside of a bar in Athens, GA, people were given the opportunity to have their teeth brushed by a stranger in a public setting. Blind folded, the participants learn to compromise with their own expectations and boundaries associated with care, touch, intimacy, and privacy.

It is the danger of visceral adipose tissue and all the minds too tied up in political issues because it’s the third planet with the third eye where we spray paint on over with TVs and lies, run by the media and the art of deceiving because there is no one to trust and I can feel my brain bleeding. There is a war going on for you mind but they keep us distracted, disarmed, and on time, As they say what they want because they know that you will believe, but I awoke by prognosis to my own infertility. We are all being poisoned, your organs inflamed, but perhaps you won’t notice till you have nothing to name”
